What’s a Speuter Day?

Speuter Days are events where feral & community cats are neutered, ear tipped, and vaccinated at minimal or no cost to the caretaker.  These services are exclusively for cats with no owners.  Our volunteer vets come together and spend the better part of an entire day performing surgeries.  We do this to reduce the population of stray and community cats who seem to contribute the most to the overpopulation in our shelters.

SADSAC provides the supplies needed and organizes Speuter Days at least once per year.  Speuter Days can neuter anywhere from 40 – 60 cats in a day.

If you’d like to volunteer at one of our Speuters, please click HERE to submit your information.  Thank you!
